With the cost of black boxes, why not install a point - breaker sytem, before elektronic ingnition, there where several makes and systems, some with pointless pick up, they all diapered with the computerboxes, but the cost of pionts is nothing in comparesing.
It most be possible to make something on a modified camwheelcover?
Anybody - any ideas??

Hello Erik,I think your idea about the points is great,I agree that bikes these days would benefit from this when electronic systems fail.
Points on the end of the cam wheel should work OK.
