I have acquired a TR1 engine in bits, is there any way to tell which cylinder and head go front and rear

They are identical! The rear carburettor are equipped with bigger jets to compensate the greater temperature.

Hi Lars The rear cylinder is no. 1 as the engine is running backwards the camshaft of the rear head is mark no 1 as the cam of the front head is mark no. 2 I´ll try to find out some more as I have 2 TR1´s and one Virago 1000 Hi from Erik |
