Thanks every one for the help answering my questions during my re-build, every thing is now completly rebuilt or new, I mean everything, every nut and bolt, seal, bearing......... motor goes great, bike handles fine, I was also able to use the starter hints to get the original back onto the bike and working, replacing a subaru car one! the bike is now proberbly more original spec than before but it rides hard, fast and easy. also a US site that supplies XS parts supplied brake master cyl, ignition and heaps of other cross over parts is www.mikesxs.com recommend highly, will post new pics soon. again thanks all.
