After it finally has completed 25 years from production year, I now want to ship my TR1 from Germany to the US. I tried to find an experienced (and inexpensive) shipping company on the Internet and requested a couple of quotes - but never got an answer from anybody! There is also a guy named 'Mike Badorf' in Florida who describes himself as experienced and knowledgable, but the post is from 2004 and he doesn't answer his phone nor returns calls. Does anybody know who to deal with best? Any experience regarding crating and other transport related issues? Thanks guys! |

I know people who have shipped their bikes to the US with "Bike World Travel GmbH" in Detmold. Look at http://www.bikeworld-travel.de/transport/index.htm Bye, Georg |

Kein schlechter Tip, ich habe gleich angerufen. Leider stellen die Jungs mir 1400 Euro in Aussicht - dafuer kann ich mir auch noch eine zweite TR1 neben die erste in die deutsche Garage stellen... (aber halt immer noch nicht durch die Huegel von Tennessee fahren). Es muss doch noch was billigeres geben! |
