Hi, I'm new to the forum, but not all that new to the TR1. I live in adelaide, South Australia and I've been mucking about with my 1981 TR1 now for about two years. I bought it knowing absolutely nothing about our black sheep of the virago family, and I've gone through all the starter issues and replaced head gaskets and the like. But despite all it's troubles, I've fallen in love with my TR1. So much so that just this last week I've bought another one.

So now that I am the proud owner of two TR1's, it's time for me to start on the project bike I've been longing to build. My plan is to build one into a Cafe Racer the likes of Mr Sepp Koch on this site and the other I will restore to original factory looks with a few modern mods like suspension, electrics and engine mods.

Is there anywhere I can find technical information on Sepp's 1200cc racer? I'm mainly concerned about his engine mods. How did he make 1200? 1100 crank with overbore? Or just major overbore? What compression? Does he have cooling issues? All that sort of stuff.

Or if I can get his contact details, I will contact him directly. I haven't been able to find him so far.
