After a couple of short runs decided that the front end may feel better with some air in as it felt like it was bottoming out on even small bumps. Added 5psi.
Home from work tonight and there is oil leaking from the bottom of the forks but not from the screw plug.
Any help welcome.

In my opinion it can only come out of one of the two ends of the lower tube: if it is not the drain on the bottom end (little Phillips head screw, probably M4 thread) then it has to be the retainer ring on the top end, right below the dust protection cap. I had one disk always full of oil (no squeeking!) until I finally replaced the retainers.

It's not too hard a job to do, you can relatively easily pull out the retainers without taking the whole assembly apart (which I couldn't  ;)): Drill a small hole into the top surface of the old retainer, right through the metal ring under the rubber. Then run a wood or sheet metal screw into it, grab the screwhead with a pair of pliers, and gently hammer the pliers upwards. Of course you don't want to scratch any surfaces on the fork tubes, since even very minor imperfections will kill your new retainers in a heartbeat...

After changing the fork seals, use stronger Wirth springs instead of the air.

Thanks for the replys.
However, no leak from seals. They are new and checked they are seated correctly so I'm now wondering if I have torqued the Allen bolt in the bottom correctly?

Once sorted I am going to opt for the progressive springs rather than air.
