Hi Mike,

i don't have any experience with different carburettors.
I know that something from the SR500 engine ist similar to the TR1.
For the SR500 tuning the Mikuni TM36 is a standard option.
You can find carburettors and nozzle sets at www.kedo.de.
The only way for a good adjustment is some measures on (in?) a test sation.

By the way, your blog is really exciting, i enjoy it.

Best regards

Thomas

hi Mike

I think Sepp is using 40mm Dell Ortos. Be patient and wait for his posting.
But I think you only need them if you want revolution speed about 8000rpm.
In this case you should also use other valve springs.

Salut, Olaf

here some 40mm dellortos. You should find fitting bends or rearrange the the Guzzi bends.

p.s. type "vergaser" at product search of www.sd-tec.de/catalog/ to find other products.

Check the bay for used Dell'ortos from old Guzzies... maybe they will even have accelerator pumps...

That will save you quite a bit of money.

Cheers,
Greg
