auf der TR1 81 wie weit kann man fallen die Gabeln in der Gabelbrücke (20 mm / 40 mm?) mit sich in Schwierigkeiten zu geraten ist dies für die Straße Dank Jamie Do you want the fork, the fork in tifer bridge plug, so you get deeper into the frame, like a cafe racer? |

Well ... I'm not a fan of the Cafe Racer ;), but I would think in three ways. First way (the easy) and remove the fork Bricke simply bolts to the fork tubes and both fork tubes just look out from above the crown. Simple test times with 20mm. The second option is to look for a couple of fork tubes with the diameter of the TR 1 (have a list of all Japanese forks the same diameter) is shorter than that of TR1. As a rule, can fit all dip tubes are replaced. Third idea, but very complicated and expensive ...(. YuLung I think) it has made [ch8203][ch8203]to reduce the raw fork, but this can only make someone a very good lathe, as well as the sales for the snap ring must be cut back. Sure, a Cafe Racer riders say more .. |

With the original mudguard you can push the fork through about 1-2 cm, then the mudguard touches the exhaust if you brake hard. But since the original mudguard is heavy as plumb and not really nice for a caferacer, you should replace it with something smaller and lighter, and then you can push through the fork at least 2 cm. You can also mount an 18 inch front wheel from the RD350, that lowers the front an additional bit. Bye, Georg |

Ohhhh YES...... this bike are looks very nice, but the exhaust i would make it a little bit other. To the fork, i think the best way to build it, is the idea from George of the RD350 front wheel. But ever you must see the riding dynamics, a bigger front wheel or a deeper fork will goes to unstable dynamics for driving. (so i think, please correct me) Hey Odin, what to hell is "YuLung" ........ LOOLLL.......... Cheers, Tom |

re trail and rake for every 25mm drop in the forks you loose about 1.3 degree of rake and about 16mm of trail which also obiviousily shortens your wheel base j maybe use XV 750 forks their rake angle is 29.5 were the TR1 is 28.5 the 750's trail is also larger by 13mm ps the xv750 in the picture its forks were lowered by 50mm !!! ![]() |
