Title: Anti-rattle shims/clips Post by Glugskiclumfum on 24.06.12 at 19:37:17
I've been having problems with the front brake on my 1984 TR1. It's been rattling loudly, and after dismantling both calipers, I found that the anti-rattle shims are missing on one side. Does anyone have any of these to spare? Yamaha don't seem to have them. Also, are there any other calipers from other bikes that might fit the TR1? Cheers :) |

Hi, You can look for SR 500, XJ 650 (and others), XV 750 (and others) and most XS models. It should be all the same stuff, because the brake pads are identical. So I don't see any reason, why these parts should be different. But please check this for Yourself, as I don't want to play with Your life. Cheers, Stefan |
