I am in South Africa and I have 5K8-001143 and it is registered as a 1983 machine but looks like your 81 machines, hugger rear mudguard and no fairing round the seat. I also have 5K8-001219 and am wondering if the 5A8 and the 5K8 series use the same numbers. ie could there be a 5A8-001143 as well as a 5K8-001143 or were the prefix numbers to specify the region the machines were intended for and had there own numbers. Does anyone have any info on this |

Hi Colin, the 5KA is a ´81 machine build for oceania region. the 5A8 is the ´81 european model. Greets T ;DM PS.: original color of the 5Ka should be crystal silver |
