For good info on TCI go to www.ridersofvision.net and see "Dave's ignition FAQ" it is for the Yamaha XZ550 which also has the rear cylinder as No 1 and gives a lot of useful info on the TCI checks and repairs |

Hy Colin .... thanks so lot, for the Link, but i can´t oben the second Link of "Dave's ignition FAQ" And thanks so lot for thie Information, we know this side, with the Tip and Trick of the TCI (CDI) ;) Because members of this site, last year with the TCI had many problems, me too. I have tried to repair my TCI, have found the error, but I get no more spare parts, no comparative. It's the fucking regular transistor, in the TCI and a load resistor, which after 30 years to make the problems Many members have a NEW TCI, bought in Czechoslovakia for not much money. NEW TCI can be set to the computer according to your wishes at home. For more information read this: http://www.tr1.de/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1253084022;start=0;action=threadpagetext |
