I have a 1985 Yamaha TR1 that I have refurbished during the winter and is now up for sale. It is completely standard except for braided brake lines on the front brakes.
I have re-galvanised most of the bolts and fastenings, as well as re-chroming the RHS silencer, front mudguard and brake pipe brackets. It has a new old stock headlight rim and a new front winker and a replacement S/H rear brake lever. The silencer, front mudguard, brake lever were all damaged (scratched) in a low speed get-off by the previous owner but now all these parts have been re-plated or replaced.
The rear sub-frame and swinging arm, centre stand and side stand, rear number plate bracket and front headlight brackets have all been shot blasted and powder coated back or silver.
The mileage (24,000miles) appears to be genuine as I have almost all of the old MOT certs from the previous owner who had the bike for nearly 22 years. The current MOT runs out on 17 May 2015. There are four owners prior to me. I only bought it as a project bike to do up over the winter as I enjoy doing this. The battery was new last year just before I bought the bike. The engine runs fine. The tank, side panels and main frame paintwork is all original and in good order. All in all a good standard unmolested bike. Please email me and I will send you some pictures.
