Title: Replace rear fender Post by sam99 on 10.11.16 at 15:09:51
Hi All, Just purchased a very nice XV920 and want to clear up the rear end a little bit to look something like Robert Lincoln's bike seen here http://www.caferacer.net/forum/general/22309-always-thought-nice-bike-xv920rh.html. I've removed the hugger & grab rail parts & looking to fit a new rear fender similar to Roberts bike, any ideas what fender would directly bolt on. Also I've mocked up the bike to become a Yamazuki, what do you think ![]() |

I used both an SR500 and a trailer rear mudguard. The SR500 is more or less a bolt on part with a couple of washers thrown in for good measure. Personally I am inclined to believe that an XS400SE mudguard might be an even better fit as the angle should suit the lines better. Currently running a 160mm wide trailer mudguard, that I altered a bit. Hope this helps Greg |

I know someone who works for a Triumph dealership who supplied me with a Bonneville fender, fits well and very a simple fit, the standard seat also fits, now to get it recovered
