Damit bleibt als Ursache im Wesentlichen ein defekter Sensor des vorderen Zylinders.

Hello Tritonkev, do you have checked the Pick-Up Coils it self? values see here: https://www.tr1.de/pages/technics_manual.php?key=XV750se&lng=eng&flg=0&pge=6028 The Pick-up Plug you can find on the left side, beside the Airfilter Housing. It is a Plug with four contacts. Igniteck: 4 Contact Plug: R (red) and Br (Brown) are Ground BL (Blue) is Pick-Up 1 GN (Green) is Pick-Up 2 TR1 Wire Diagram: https://www.tr1.de/pages/technics_manual.php?key=XV750se&lng=eng&flg=0&pge=7073 ; here Position 25 Regards Anja |

Hi Tritonkev, hi all, I experienced a similar issue with my bike shortly ago: Sometimes (but not not regularly) one of the cylinders had no spark and began to spit and bang. I checked, exchanged and/or renewed the following components:
All that didn't help. Finally I exchanged the voltage regulator/rectifier. Seems that this was the culprit - as I could ride more than 550 km since then without the ignition issue. My assumption for the root cause of the failure: The voltage regulator delivered false voltage values for some moments. As a consequence, the TCI became bamboozled and delivered no regular spark impulses any more. Cheers, Roland |

Interesting i disconnected the regulator today but still the same issue

Simply disconnecting the regulator won't solve the problem. You need to ensure that the voltage required by the ignition system isn't too high or too low. Furthermore, operating the alternator without a regulator and battery could damage the stator winding. It's best to first measure the charging voltage with the engine running. It should be around 14.5 volts. |

Yes I know i only ran it for a short time with it disconnected just to see if it made any difference it didn't i did check it for charging at a flat tick over showing about 14 volts.
