My manual states the mitsubishi f3t414 can deliver 16a
Has anybody ever measured at what rpm this is being delivered?

Reason: today i changed the connector of the regulator/rectifier beause it was oxidated beyond use.
However I used a superseal connector which is rated for 14a nominal.

If the 16a is only at >6000rpm I am willing to believe 14a NOMINAL will suffice.
Otherwise I risk meltinf mh connector after a long higwayrun. I must say these tiny pins for the connectors feel a bit underpowered for the thick red main 12v wire but I have no alternative in stock and want to ride

Superseal means that water, that has once entered the connector, will never go out again. ;-)

I would use a larger one or luster terminals.

I had to convert to Bullet-connectors on one trip due to the connector giving up and this has worked for several years without the slightest hint of an issue. Even if the alternator can still output 16A, this will be over all 3 phases, i.e. the load on a single pin should be significantly less.

Thanks for your replies, and you are right Greg, on the ingoing side I therefore left the super seal in place.
On the outgoingside the 3 phases are rectified over 2 cables. There I got a little angstig and replaced the euoerseal with these:



Probably thats what you mean with bullit type?
They are more meaty. Great to hear they last properly!

Pretty much - I used a variant which comes with a silicone sleeve, but the principle is the same and I filled the female connector with dielectric grease to keep moisture out.

Hallo Jungs, es gibt für die Super Deals noch eine 30 A Variante. Hab sie damals mit dem neuen  Limaregler dazu bekommen. Hab aber leider auch noch nie gefunden wo man sie her bekommt.
