I live in Washington state and own a 1981 XV920RH.  Actually when I was a Yamaha dealer we sold four of these model over two years.  And I need a headlight assembly if you know of any available.

I own an '82 XV920RJ and enjoy it. Stocking up on spares when I find them, I bought the 8" diameter round headlight assembly from an '82 Seca 650 which matches the one on my bike.  You might also check the one on '83 Suzuki GS1150E/ES bikes, which appears to be a similar part.

I live in Salem, Oregon. I bought a 1982 920R from a friend who owned it since it had 1200 miles. Currently it has 30000 and running well. I read somewhere that 1800 were brought into the states. When ordering parts I find TR1 listed more often than 920R - I believe most parts are interchangeable. I'd be glad to correspond with other "Eurago" owners stateside.

I recently bought an XV920 with 6,000 miles for $500. I even found one in a nearby junk yard to pull parts from. Sadly, the man at the dump would probably want more for the wrecked junk bike than what I paid for my complete bike! If any one has any advice on mods for this bike, or even expected problems, drop a line to me. ross_hampton@yahoo.com

I replaced the stock exhaust with MAC header and muffler after the
old one rotted, you will lose the center stand but keep it for maintenance. I also replace the stock air filter with a K and N air filter. The bike fell over in the garage bending the handle bar which had to be replaced. I got seat cover from J. C. Whitney. I had to make by own intake gaskets, material from auto zone. Replaced mirrors from Bates Motorcycle. Now I need a master brake cylinder. I hope this helps.

this is a hard bike to find parts for but you would be amases that a lot of the parts are the same from a xj 750 and the turbo has the same throdal and tun assembly
