Not TR1 specific  Roll Eyes

My garage has a downhill slope into it and it is a pain to be reversing the bike down into it.
I can ride it down, but then I have the problem of turning it round.

So, I bought a heavy duty, 300 mm diameter "Lazy Susan" bearing with a load capacity of 450 kg. from Bangood (Cheap!) Heavy-Duty-Metal-Bearing and a pre-cut roundel of 5 mm thick aluminium with the same diameter from Ebay - also cheap - Scheibe-Aluminium 300x5

Its a simple job to bolt the plate to the bearing with M6 nuts & bolts. The bolts need to be cut as short as possible to avoid fouling.
I think I made mine 8 mm.
After assembling and testing that the bolts don't bind in the bearing, I centre-punched between the bolt and nut to lock them.
The plate and bearing are 15 mm thick so its not too hard to get the bike on the stand

Nice idea! Below you find the above linked video directly embedded:

This was also to check if embedding a video directly to a board post does work Smiley

Don't ask me anything technical about the TR1!

Thumb Up

Not the same code as an <iframe> embed from YouTube then?

No, since it has to fit to the >20 year old forum software YaBB. I might enhance it the next weeks to have an "embed YouTube video" button... But, I do not like external content too much. E.g. if I would not save regularily external hosted pictures local to TR1.de, for sure most of them would have gone already and the affected posts would often be useless. Same applies probably with the videos...
