I have an XV750 grey import - exactly the same as a TR1 but with
a 750 engine.
On the road I've seen a few other TR1s - there was one in Durham,
one in Leicester, one in Liverpool, and one in Norfolk.
When I saw the other rider in Leicester we both seemed completely
gob-smacked to see someone else with a similar bike and carried on
with huge grins.
There is a TR1 specialist in Lancashire called XV-Motors. They also
drag race TR1s and are always helpful. A consequence of drag racing
is that they've had adverts in BSH and AWOL for years asking for
TR1 and XV750s for what must be years and now have spares here and
there.
Contact them on
XV Motors
78, Market St
Adlington
Chorley

Tel: 01257 483833
Hope to see you around.
Neil.

Hi Jon,
Here's another TR1 driver in Swindon.
Please drop me an e-mail on katmar@btinternet.com
I am not writing any longer now because this software does not work well for me

Just bought an 82 TR1 in Scotland
lots of rattly noises, misfires, popping noise etc
Will be dismantling soon to probe for the causes, or should these engines make all this racket?
