Eppo from the Netherlands made a while ago a great picture to be used as a screen background for computers showing the "transparent" TR1 from the original brochure and very fancy made characters for "TR1". He sent me this, together with some other nice pics. Be aware, that the pictures are quite big. Best is to right-click the thumbnails and select "Save Target As...".

Wilfried Voß sent me a mail with information about the Motorbike Museum Ibbenbüren (if someone needs the text in English, please drop me a mail):
| Auf der Rückfahrt von einer Tour Richtung Emsland / Ostfriesland habe ich das Motorrad-Museum in Ibbenbüren besucht. Neben einer Vielzahl von schönen alten und auch seltenen Motorrädern habe ich nicht schlecht gestaunt. Steht doch im ersten Ausstellungsraum das Schnittmodell einer TR1. Laut Nachfrage bei dem Besitzer des Museums, Herrn Stockmann, wurde dieses Modell von Yamaha bei Einführung der TR1 benutzt, um den Yamaha-Händlern die Technik besser erläutern zu können. |
