I did a mod several years ago but I can't find the information any more. It was about adding a washer on the bushing nr 13 in the picture Can anyone help me? It should reduce a scraping sound when starting.

hello LasseTR, In the mid 1990 Yamaha released a modification Set to solve the Problems with the TR1 Starter Linkage. This Set was a derivative from the newer XV1100 Engine Design (1995-1996). I have enclosed a Snap Shoot from my Part-List, displaying the Mechanism of the XV1100 Engine. I hope hat helps a little bit regards Anja |
