ich brauch dringend Info zur Grundeinstellung
des Monoshock-Federbeins (siehe Posting weiter unten).
Kann mir da keiner weiterhelfen ????

Anbei eine Auskunft von Sepp Koch:
1) Nicht im ausgebauten Zustand am dem Einstellknopf
  drehen. Wenn sich die Bautenzüge verdrehen, kannst
  Du ihn wahrscheinlich wegwerfen.
2) Das Ergebnis hängt ein bischen davon ab in welcher
  Stellung Du den Einstellknopf ausgebaut hast, sprich
  ich welche Richtung du nach dem Verdrehen (s.u.) noch
  Luft hast.
3) Einstellschraube am Federbein 'locker' drehen. Dann
  zurückdrehen bis die Rastung hörbar und spürbar wird.
  Dann 7-8 Umdrehungen weiterdrehen und das ganze wieder
  zusammenbauen. Das ist schon eine 'optimalere' Einstellung
  als original!

Following information is from Sepp Koch:
1) Do not turn the adjustment weel at all when the parts
  are disassembled. Once the the wire is twisted, it is
  very likely, that you can throw away the adjustment weel.
2) The result depends a bit on the position of the adjustment
  weel when you started disassembling. You'll have more effect
  if this was the 'softer' postition.
3) Turn the adjustment-weel (now on the monoshock) loose. Then
  turn it back until you feel and hear the snap-klicks. Then
  turn it in another 7-8 turns and assemble it again. This gives
  you already a better situation than original.
