hello everyone, well  some of you will have helped me in this forum with tech questions and answers, THANKS. well the bike hase done about 5000 km since the re-build and goes strong, the guys i ride with have now up graded their bikes to keep up xs650 now sv1000s, yam750 now triumph daytona, i'm not changing, mine is strong and does the job, we have 100km/hr speed limit, i recently posted 186 km/hr on police radar and the officer couldnt beleive it was an '82 model bike, wrote ticket for 149km as anything 50km over speed limit is instant loss of licence, lucky..(PS: it was a safe time and place, thats why he was there) and yes the speedo is accurate! I'm now in trouble with my wife as i'm using the spare bike i have to build up to make a race bike for a pre 82 class they run here in NZ but my excuse is that it should slow me down on the road? will try to have it built for 2006/7 season inc some road race meets they have here.
