Hi comrades !
it would be great to hear from  riders who have changed the sizes either up or down of their rear sprockets
and their impressions on how it changed their TR1 , 920
im considering going down to a 33

A friend tried a smaller rear sprocket on his TR1. His intention was to save fuel while travelling long distances on the motorway. But it made no sense, since the consumption was quite the same, and it meant a lack of performance, as predicted. So he switched back to the original setup. This experiment had ruined his ugly chain case, by the way.

From time to time, I think about a bigger sprocket, since I am used to stronger bikes and would like better acceleration for my old TR1, which is a genuine "heap of iron", as we say in Germany. But I am too lazy to do this. Guess I don't really see the need, as I got some more bikes, each of them is faster than my TR1. But this would be a simple tuning, as long as You are up to having fun on minor roads and don't care about travelling at high speed.

Regards,

Stefan
