Oil Baffle plate
25.11.17 at 08:45:34

Hello Everyone,

I am needing an oil baffle plate, to one that fits on the front cylinder camshaft, over the camshaft sprocket.  Somehow during the strip-down and subsequent rebuild the part has gone missing, so if anyone has a wrecked motor and are willing to sell me the part, please comment below.  I need one ASAP.

Cheers,
Richard

Hello Richard

Thank you I received your address. I thought, because of your perfect English, you were based in the UK. Now I know you are based in Australia. I won't hold it against you.

I have posted the part today by Airmail. You should receive it within 5 days.

The part is worth next to nothing and it is good to see it contributing to getting another TR1 back on the road. So you can have it as an early Christmas present.

You are getting into the Australian summer so when you get your bike back on the road and are riding in the sun think of us in wet and cold Europe.

All the best.
Kevin

No worries,
Good onya!

I'll chuck a Christmas Prawn on the barbie for you!

Richard

PS I was actually near you a few months ago, staying in Alresford with my Aunt and cousins! Nice part of the world.

Hello Richard

It's -3C here today. Not really biking weather. Just the thought of throwing a prawn on the barbie makes me feel warmer.

Alresford is a lovely area. If you ever get to the UK again. Please contact me.

Regards
Kevin

Hello Richard

Thanks for letting me know of the safe arrival. Good to see its the right part. They told me  4/5 days for delivery. At least you got it in the end. Hopefully your bike will be back on the road soon.

Happy Christmas too.
