Rocker arms
03.08.20 at 09:47:57

Hi everyone,

A quick question and a quick answer (I hope).

Are the inlet and exhaust rockers the same? I notice that one rocker pad, where it contacts the Cam, seems to have a small oil hole but the other one doesn't. I can't find any reference to either in the workshop manual.
The one with the oil hole has the number 17 in the casting, the other has 54.

So which is which or does it not matter?

Cheers,
Richard

Hallo Richard,
I think inlet and outlet rocker arms are the same, but the one with the hole is the old version, the other with the hard block is the newer one.

Hi Gredner,
Thanks for that advice! These two are from the front cylinder, the rear ones are the same, one with and one without an oil hole.
Cheers,
Richard
