Hi,
         Who could say to me, if there is a spring to keep in place the oil filter ( my bike is an XV 1000 TR1  5A8) ?

Hallo,
         Wer kann mir sagen, ob es eine Frühling ist zu halten die Öl-Filter ( XV 1000 TR1  5A8) ?

Hi JLR,
there is no spring to keep the oil filter in place. It's kept in place by engine housing and a rubber seal on the filter to accomodate tolerances and oil leakages.

btw, "Frühling" is the German word for the season "spring".
