Hi all, please help I have split my drive chain so I could do some work on the swing arm, and now I cant get a soft link to re join the chain, can I use a spring clip to join it back together?

Hi Thanks very much for your reply, My TR1 is original and runs with the non O ring chain, The bike has only done 6k miles ( approx. 9k kilometres ) so the original chain has done no work, That is why I am keen to use the non o ring link . My bike is featured in the press section of website ( English ) under " ugly duckling or graceful swan "
