Spark plugs NGK (Read 146 times)

Grandparipper TR1 Board Newbie Posts: 18 Gender: Bike: XV920R, SR500, R1200RT, SR500 race bike in parts	Spark plugs NGK 15.01.26 at 22:47:15 I could not find the correct non-resistor spark plugs. I bought the BPR7ES plugs instead of the BP7ES. I think the only difference is the resistor part. Will this be as good? Is there a reason they specified non-resistor plugs? In 1981 radios on a motorcycle were not a thing, but I have a communicator with a radio function that I use frequently. Am I too worried about minor things?

Adding a resistor spark plug will only result in weakening the spark. BP7ES is what I run. That being said, with everything else dialed in nicely, the additional resistor won't kill you. Cheers, Greg
