Thanks for the compliments, I don't know if you were able to read anything.... there's an english topic on the "do the ton" forum under cafe racers if you like to read the story so far.

The "best" frame is hard to find... it depends what you're looking for. The TR1 frame is certainly not bad in terms of construction, but the looks are NOT among the best i think. In terms of weight, i'm not doing a bad job i think, My frame comes in at 13Kg and just a little over 15Kg including the swingarm.

And last but least, my goal was to build my own bike from scratch, and the TR1 engine was the choice after a lot of options ( it looks great IMHO), and I think an EGLI frame suits the engine best, so that was the way to go.
