bike are shaking

Hello

(TR1 -83)

When accelerating hard and the engine s below 3000 rmp the bike are shaking a lot. Is this typical for the TR1 or is there something wrong with my bike? It doesn´t feel right that a Japanese bike is shaking so much, if it was a Harley I would assume it was normal.

Best regards from Sweden

Sounds a bit like badly synced carbs to me (especially when considering the other issues you described in the other thread on acceleration)

Cheers

The TR1 _is_ a two cylinder engine and it _does_ rattle and shake if you accelerate hard at low revs, especially in the 4th and 5th gear.

Synchronisation of the carbs has nothing to do with that, also not with the missing power at higher revs. At least if the synchronisation isnt so much wrong, that one carb is still closed and the other one half open... ,-)

Bye,
Georg
