I think we have some problems to properly understand what you are trying to tell us.
Your tank is "springing leaks for fun". What das that mean?

Ich würde aber lieber nach einem TR1-Tank Ausschau halten, oder den alten restaurieren. In ebay wurden in letzter Zeit 4 Stück verkauft... @gunner: I dont know if there are tanks from other bikes that fit properly onto the TR1. I'd rather watch out for a used TR1-tank, or restore my own. You can weld or solder the holes, derust and seal the inner side. Gruss, Georg
