hello ,

Has anyone already tried rockers from the BT1100 in the TR1, xv920.
no holes for oil are provided in the rockers of the BT1100, but it does have an extra wear layer

Yup. Those are the same hardfaced rockers as they were used in the XV1100. Make sure you only pair them with cams that have previously run hard faced rockers or they will ride on the ridge left from the center hole of the original ones on the cams. That being said, if you polish the cams it should be fine. (The SR500 guys do that quite often as there was a similiar change in the course of the evolution of the bike.)

Cheers,
Greg

hello Greg,
I don't understand very well, poor translation of google I think, I see that there is a difference in the distance of the holes in the shafts, so I have to use the valve rockers and shafts of the BT1100, what should I do then polishing ?

Do you use the BT1100 valve rockers in your engine ?

greetings
Patrick

Scratch the cam-lobes with your finger-nail, if you don't feel anything, they are smooth enough for usage.

If not, you may want to share a picture here on the forum.

Cheers,
Greg

The cam lobes of camshafts xv920 cylinder heads are in perfect condition , the valve rocker in the photo is from a TR1 whose camshaft does have damage, not from the xv920 !! Thx Greg !
