Make sure you only pair them with cams that have previously run hard faced rockers or they will ride on the ridge left from the center hole of the original ones on the cams. That being said, if you polish the cams it should be fine. (The SR500 guys do that quite often as there was a similiar change in the course of the evolution of the bike.) Cheers, Greg
