Is it normal for the rear cylinder exhaust manifold to become red hot?
I started mine in the garage, hadn't put the light on yet and running at a fast idle I noticed the rear manifold was actually glowing red after about 5 mins.

Hi Pete,
I never heard of this, but it's possible, because the rear manifold is only a single pipe. Just the front exhaust has an inner and an outer pipe, so you can't see it glow ... Wink)
