chain - replace? -Vibrations

My TR1 has over 70 000 km on the "clock"; is it neccesary to replace the rear chain and sprockets?
The axle is on the third marking at the swing arm (the middle). Can some of the vibrations be blamed on a worn out chain?
I'm working on eliminating vibrations and after adjusting and synchronizing the carbs it's better but maybe not as good as it can be...
I synched at 4000 rpm, the idle (1000 rpm) was not perfekt. Perhaps the linkage is badly worn?

Greetings Lars ,  I dont think your problem with vibration is related to chain wear as I have just replaced the original chain on my own xv1000rj after 120,000 km and up until this time I have not experienced any noticable change in vibration levels for the life of the bike. Also the sprockets were in a very good condition and should hold out for another service life.
The only major service performed on the swing arm and chain case was to rotate the chain guide tubes due to the lower of the two having a worn chain track. Cheers.
