New Discussion-Board Software

Hi there,

time has come - for a new discussion board software. My current
favourite is YaBB (Yet another Bulletin Software). Please use this
poll to tell me your opinion about it!

And of course you can post any articles you like, after you have
registered! But remember that all those posts will be deleted just
before the official start of the new board!

die Zeit für eine neue Forensoftware ist gekommen. Mein aktueller
Favourit ist YaBB (Yet another Bulletin Software). Bitte benutze diese
Umfrage um mir Deine Meinung darüber mitzuteilen.

Und natürlich kannst Du Einträge posten, nachdem Du Dich registriert
hast! Aber bitte nicht vergessen, dass alle diese Artikel kurz vor der
offiziellen Eröffnung des neuen Boards gelöscht werden!

Hallo Manfred !

Klappt gut, sehr praktisch.

Frage:

Schön wäre es wenn man statt des "Bildes" ein Avatar
(welches hochgeladen + gespeichert wird) setzen könnte.
Nicht jeder (z.B. ich  cry )hat eine Homepage oder sein
Bild irgendwo im Netz.

Das habe ich mir auch schon gedacht. Der Autor von YaBB hat das auf seiner
To-Do Liste. Wenn er es bis 1.1.06 nicht schafft, werde ich einen Hinweis bei
der Registrierung einbauen, dass man mir ein Bild vorerst per eMail senden
kann, das ich dann einbaue!

Yes, it would be nice to have the possibility to upload a picture/avatar during
registration. The author of YaBB has this feature on his To-Do list. If he does
not achive this till January 1st 2006, I'll show a note during registration that
one can send me a picture which I link to the user.

Das geht sicher vorerst als Workaround. Aber vom Browser 100x100 px
bei nicht quadratischen Bilder skalieren zu lassen ist sicher mehr als
suboptimal.

Wie gesagt bis Anfang 2006 gibt es dazu 'ne Lösung!

Cool Moin Leute,

tja also ich finde das neu Board echt Prima echt Prima! Respekt und 2 Daumen hoch für Manfred.

Mann muß noch ein paar Sachen ausprobieren aber im großen und ganzen leicht zu bedienen.
Bin ja auch kein PC Profi aber komme damit gut zurecht!Und das mit dem Foto hochladen finde ich auch ne gute Idee.

Hallo Manfred, ich finde dein Board klasse! Tja bzgl. der Bilder...da müsst ihr halt mit meiner Joe Bar Guzzi leben, solange es aus dem Netz sein muss....immerhin ein Zweizylinder!  Wink

find ich gut!-)
Anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das registrieren ist kinderleicht und der Rest ist übersichtlich.

Na, das freut mich aber! Jetzt gibt's einfach mehr Möglichkeiten als vorher.
Auch die Verwaltung für mich ist leichter. Das war vorher mit dem Uralt-Board
teilweise nicht unerheblicher Aufwand.
