Dunno, I guess except for some spacers it works just fine.

Also, after all these years a finished foto:

Seems like it has always been like this, and that was the main aim.
No random placed components with clumsy brackets for me.
Massive job to get the tank and seat properly in straigth line, but it pays off imho.

Brief summary:
Headlamp of bmw boxer, home made mounts
Home made tank out of narrowed xs1100, with tr1 tunnel amd zundapp fillercap.
Home made subframe with agm battery under seat to make the bike less bulky on the side.
Home made rear exhoust pipe
Customized mufflers
Fenders of xs1100 and cb750
Front hub of Goldwing, cusromized speedo drive, spacers and brake rotors
Rear hub of suzuki gt750, with homemade chain carrier
Custom indicators
Custom handle bar, handles, mirrors
Customized cockpit
Upgraded suspension front and rear
Revised brakes with stainless pistons
Miller rearlight with custom mounting
And so forth..

Missing: side panels (yet to be painted)
