Last night, it's 1.14 am on Thursday the 27th of July 2011 my 1981 Yamaha TR1 1000cc motorcycle fired into life for the first time in over a year.
Many thanks to those here who have replied to my queries and given me valuable information and tips, without you all it'd have been a difficult transition.
Music to my ears from her newly chromed 2 into 1 pipe system, few minor teething problems getting an initial start but once going she strated and ran , no choke and no throttle manipulating at all.
Can't wait to get the painted bits on and a few pictures posted here first.
