timing set up

HI , I have an 82 XV 920 RH, i have the motor out and heads/jugs off for machining, im putting it together now, just looking for some clarification on my bottom end timing of the rear cylinder, my flywheel was not taken off however i had rotated it when the top end was off. So im looking to set my flywheel mark at T for starting to assemble the rear cylinder . What im wondering is if my flywheel is at the T mark through the side cover, does that mean the two piece gear behind the flywheel is properly alligned with the crank key that the flywheel slides onto? or is there a two to one rotation ratio for that alignment? Thank you

My english-especially technical english - is not too good, but as far as i understand  i believe the ratio you are asking for is 1:1, if you had not took the flywheel and gear behind off, you should have the right timing. Of course the upper (Head)gear -which makes the 2:1 Ratio, has to be put on TDC and the marker,
