hi to one and all from sunny queensland , australia , i am a new member here and a fairly new TR1 owner .      the bike was in a sore and sorry state when i bought it 6 months ago but has since rewarded me with some brilliant motorcycling , i love old classics and have a few .

my question is having done a oil change when i first purchased it , i stupidly put the oil filter in back to front , 800 miles later , i decided to do another service and noticed the filter arse about ............. , i know better now but what possible damage may i have incurred on my poor bike even although it  was running fine    ?      

thanks addo225 , not sure if i feel any better or not as i have done runs of around 300kms with the filter as it was .      all i can think is that they are a very forgiving motor

i am currently waiting on an old douglas coming from over your way , should be here in a week or so
