Carburetor diaphragm replacement
10.06.20 at 17:18:58

Hi All,

Need some help/advice... I bought a set of replacement diaphragms for my 1981 TR1 but when I removed the old diaphragms I did not mark the slide in relation to the locator tab on the top of the carb. There are two holes in the slide that I assume must sit in a specific location (or maybe not)

Hope this makes sense ... is there anyone who has completed this on another bike who can advise?

The slide cutout goes towards the airfilter, i.e. away from the engine.

Thanks ... I got some info off the net ... shows similar carbs and advises that the 2 holes on the bottom of the slide should be towards the engine side   Thumb Up

Some carbs have slides which are beveled at the lower end but according to your photos this is not the case with the TR1.
