Engine gasket sets - recommendations? (Read 185 times)

DME TR1 Board Newbie Posts: 1 Gender:	Engine gasket sets - recommendations? 25.11.23 at 18:16:54 Hi all! I'm planning to overhaul my 1981 TR1 engine this winter to get rid of some oil leaks and a few other problems.. Will need a complete set of gaskets for the engine, and I'm looking for info and recommendations on good gasket sets. Is there a good aftermarket gasket set? If so, which brand/make is recommended? Or is it better to go for OEM Yamaha gaskets? Thankful for advice! /Daniel

Reply #1 - 27.11.23 at 09:12:18 Hello Daniel, Ithink you can use all aftermarket gasket sets, like Athena or others. Exept of the zylinder head gaskets,k these one are not useful, because the thickness is to much, they won´t fit. Maybe Sepp Koch has even some. https://www.tr1.de/pages/misc_shop.php
