Guess what?
Like many ignorant british people I believe everyone on this planet can speak english, so the only bits of "foreign" language I bother to learn are usually swear-words. If there are any german speakers reading this, I'd like you to know that any effort by yourselves to use english would be appreciated because the translation feature on this site actually turns english language into double-dutch.
As for kaput crank, I gave up and bought an engine complete from a breakers yard for £250.
