Wheel spacers
19.07.16 at 19:06:00

So I got a XS650 wheel for my Trine which I have been told is a direkt swap but as my project came all in boxes and had been converted to Suzuki 17" wheels I do not have a set of original spacers.. so could someone please measure their rear wheel spacers for me please?

I am using a GL1000 wheel for the front so I'll work those out myself.

Thank you.

Hello

Here is what you need.

From left to right:

TR1 Axle
TR1 chain tensioner
XS650 axle spacer 25mm
XS650 axle spacer 31mm
TR1 axle spacer 36mm

All the best.

Cool, Thanks Kevin!

Any Reason you can think of that the two on the left can't be just one spacer?

Also why has the no2 spacer got a wider flange?

Cheers,

Rant.

Hello Rant

The number 2 spacer flange is 'push on'. It can slide along the spacer shaft and works as a dust cover over the wheel bearing.

You could combine the first two spacers as one but you would need to make a dust cover to protect the bearing. Given the work involved it may be better for you to source the original XS650 spacers?

Best of luck
Kevin
