Was gibt es für Möglichkeiten die bekannten Starterbrobleme zu beseitigenn?

There are a lot of "known problems" about the starter. So I reckon
there is only one way to solve them: A lot of patience! Just keep
trying, it IS possible to solve them.
Send me a more detailled description of your problem, I should be
able to give you some hints.

I just buyed the bike in this year. In the beginning i was siturbed about the noises the starter makes und sometimes he does not turn the engine. But by the second try, it always works. So I am not anymore so disturbed.
Ich hatte das Bike im Frühjahr neu gekauft. Manchmal macht der Anlasser nur Lärm, dreht den Motor aber nicht mit. Bei zweitem Mal klappt's aber immer. Im Moment habe ich mich daran gewöhnt und större mich nicht mehr so sehr daran.
Danke für Deinen Hinweis vielleicht brauche ich ihn später.

I have no starter and would like desperatley to get my hands on one.  I have a 981cc TR1 reg 1981.
Any help much appreciated + cash for parts

Ps  any other ways of solving this problem I have been told you can use a MINI starter motor ???
