help!!  I have a problem with my 1983 TR1 which won't go away....
the bike won't run at over 5000rpm - or only if I take it up very gently - in 1st gear, at over 1/2 throttle, it coughs & dies for a split second..... I have custom pipes (almost straight through) but a shop just put standard air system back on (thus I have backfiring on overrun - I mean decelleration) - tips, anyone?
