fuses

Hi everybody..I have a problem with the 15 and 10 amp fuses.I need to buy new ones because I have burned all the original and the spare ones included in the original fuse box.the problem is that I can't find them here in Italy because they measure 6,3x 25'4 mm and we have only 6,3 x 30 mm.someone knows where I can buy them online?thanks a lot

Thanks for the reply edzard.I have only one question... the fuses  are 30mm long instead of the 25mm of the original ones, so..can I use it if they are 5mm longer?thanks

Sorry I was confused

These Onlineshops have both versions, 25 mm and 30 mm
I sometimes have been using also a 30mm version but it matches not quiet well

Greetings

Edzard

30mm isn't perfect, but it'll work (just).

Thanks a lot Gregg..I think I will try the 30 mm because I can find them here in my hometown.I'm waiting for an answer from one of the  German online shop that edzard link to me today, that sells the 25 mm ones.I have posted another question in the forum about the cut out relay.I found a new one in the Yamaha parts shop but  is for the virago 1000 from 1985,do you know if it's the same relay of the tr1?thanks

SmileyThis is one of the first thing I thought when I realise that here in Italy none has this kind of fuse.the answer is "just because I want the original fuse box with the Yamaha logo under the headlight...I simply love it!!!but yes,the best thing to is to change into a modern ones.

Well, I tried that, but I don't see where there should be enough room for flatblade fuses in the stock box... but if you do, let me/us know.

Cheers,
Greg
