Hi
I'm contemplating buying a new system myself.
The only aftermarket exhaust system I have heard of is from BMS. They have a (apparently) taylor-made system for TR1's.
Check out http://www.connect.ie/users/euro1/bsm/html/profile.htm
Are there any TR1 owners out there who has bought a BSM system? How do they perform? Pictures?
  Best regards

Hi Morten,
I have a BSM exhaust system since 1995. It's still fine and works properly. The sound is a bit more louder than with the original systems but still within the legal limits.
The mounting was quite easy however not all parts are fitting perfectly but with minor changes on connectors etc. it was mounted in half a day.
on another Bike I have a Stainless system from Niroparts, but that company does not exist anymore as far as I know. That system is also O.K. and was not too expensive. I heard I costed about DM 2500,- in 96. I payed DM 890,- for my BSM system made of normal steel and chromed afterwards.
Sorry for answering so late, I had a very busy end of the year.
Regards from Augsburg
Armin
