It's me again...
on multiple demand of a single gentleman (Hi Manfred!), i'll try to
translate my posting into english.
(i'm not so bad at english, but i don't know the technical terms of
motorbikes... So i'm sitting here with
http://dict.leo.org/ in another
browser window, this may be a good hint for the other non-english
TR1-drivers here.)
Ok here we go: The Battery on my TR1 was always empty during the last
two weeks, so i looked into it and found, that the cables that come
out of the motor and go up somewhere where burnt on the rear exhaust.
The whole connector and the cables were melted into a single clump of
plastic, mud, copper and verdigris. After fiddling this apart, i'm
quite helpless which cable must be connected with which one, and how
i may check the generator or the rectifier if they still work properly.
i hope i haven't posted to much nonsense now...
Bye,
Georg
