I measure the Oil temperature with that replacement , instead of the Oil filling cap, don´t know what it is called in english, it is not very exact, and is not fitting with the BT cylinders, i had to cut of a bit of material to make it fit. This Thing shows 120 Degree as a "normal" temperature, it may be less in real, but it´s a good indicator. So 120 is normal, 100 is OK in cold weather conditions, 140 is hot, at 60-70 the engine/Oil is too cold to drive at higher revs. Last year at chambley it shows 160, too hot and not good for the big end bearings, that is what i know now, Ali
